Seamless Aluminum Gutters Are Available In The Following Styles Aluminum Seamless K-Style – 5″ seamless residential with a 2″X 3″ downspout system Aluminum Seamless K-Style – 6″ oversized for residential and commercial with a 3″X 4″ downspout system Determining the correct size gutter for your home. Based on square footage of the gutters, drainage area and roof style will dictate the size of the appropriate gutter for your home or building. As a result, the steeper the roofs pitch the more windblown rain it will collect. 5″ seamless aluminum K-Style gutters with a 2″ x 3″ downspout system can handle a water capacity of 1.2 gallons of water per foot. We use these on small to medium structures. 6″ seamless aluminum K-Style gutters with a 3″x 4″ downspout system are often used for commercial buildings. Many homebuilders and contractors, however, install 6″ gutters on larger homes. In addition, they collect and carry a larger water capacity of 35% larger than the 5″ gutter. These especially have aesthetics appropriate to the larger size of the structure than the 5″ gutter. Gutter Materials We manufacture our gutters on site with our roll-form machine capable of producing 5″ or 6″ heavy 032 gauge aluminum seamless gutters customized to your home’s requirements. Many gutter companies, consequently, use 0.27 gauge aluminum. We install durable 0.19 gauge aluminum downspout systems to help prevent dents and damage. We install our K-Style gutters with heavy duty hidden hangers back-screwed to the fascia. We use gutter corner 0.32 gauge aluminum miters instead of dubious strip miters to eliminate leaks. Aluminum Seamless K-Style 5″ and 6″ available in 15 colors including standard high gloss white. Half-round gutters are heavier than K-Style gutters and, in addition, water capacity reduces with the 1/2 round aluminum gutter.
